Dr. Silverman is the Vice President for Ambulatory Strategy and Development as well as the Medical Director of the Primary and Post-Acute Care Service Line at Saint Francis Care in Hartford, CT. He also oversees the activities of the Connecticut Institute for Primary Care Innovation. He is a board certified general internist and he is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and sits on the Internal Medicine Subspecialty Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine. In his spare time he still manages to practice primary care Internal Medicine.

At Saint Francis Care he has been responsible for helping to build Saint Francis’ clinically integrated network through the development of innovative primary care strategies and creating opportunities for the acute care hospital to develop clinical programming that spans the care continuum and delivers high value, patient-centered care.  Dr. Silverman also developed the post-acute care strategy for Saint Francis Care which has created a novel post-acute care network in the greater Hartford area.
